INTERNSHIP INFOPACK ABOUT US Civil Society Supporter Association (SITODED) It was founded in February 2006. In many areas it enforces youth activities and founder members of civil society supporter association have education degree of bachelor, master, PhD level as a result of their research in Erzurum to develop civil society activities. Today we have about 100 active members. The members of our association who are to make projects are volunteers who are young people, children, handicapped, and women. Civil society supporter association holds various supporting activities in our local’s NGOs. And Civil Society Supporter Association joins national and international level active Professional foundations and universities who were coordinated in training courses and takes this acquired knowledge and experience to transpose to our local. By doing so, SİTODED (Civil Society Supporter Organisation) tries to improve and develop itself. Our aim is; to take initiative actions to improve the efficiency level of Civil Society Organisations and NGOs. to be a leading organisations to direct the Civil Society Organisations in Erzurum in terms of both European and World norms in the parallel of globalisation. to provide, and develop communication and collaborations between active NGOs at the local level. to create projects at both local, national and international level and help them be represented in international platform. to enable the use of current programmes and spread them over to develop Erzurum.

To have individuals who; can make changes, create projects that have high efficiency level, have no doubt for the future, can support the leaders of the movement of Civil Societies to reach the concept of “Erzurum of the Future”, can create liveliness and share these common ideals by coming together.
The City:Erzurum Erzurum is one of the biggest city in Turkey.It is located in North-east part of the country.It is famous for Palandöken mountain.Especially in winter, Erzurum is a tourist center for winter sports. Erzurum has some diverse winter sports facilities in Turkey and hosted the 2011 Winter Universiade It is a mountain city with a lots of youngesters and students. It is also a city with a long history and tradition. It embraces many immigrants and cultural groups from many areas of the wider region of the east's, which renders it a colorful mosaic of cultures.

Civil Society Supporter Association puts its activity ideas and works by working with professional and volunteer team groups and implements them in terms of European Union, World Bank, embassies and related suitable funds. 2019-International Entrepreneurship Village
This Project is part of the Civil Society Support Association.It began with support of Republic of Turkey Ministry of Interior and the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Industry and Technology. Within the scope of the project, 10 training programs were organized. KOSGEB Entrepreneurship Training and Social Entrepreneurship Training certificates were given to the participants following the trainings organized in the fields of Economic and Social Entrepreneurship. 2019-Youth Projects Preparation Training
Within the scope of the 2-day project, the steps of preparing the Youth Projects were outlined and at the end of the training, the participants received a Project Preparation Certificate.

In the Republic Day (29 October) Our social activities committees organized a concert. The people can enter with book of 7-12 years childreen book’s. All the books we have collected, were sent to library of Primary School. 2019-Converstation Club
Each Saturday, Our volunteer speaks in Eglish to using non-formal education methods for improving their English with EVS volunteers and two moderator of our volunteers.

For 2019-2020 we created some committees which are

It is appointed volunteer of Civil Society Support Association for Each of these committees. ACCOMMODATION
The Intern will be stay in Volunteer House.There is one Turkish volunteer as a host.In every two months, two volunteers are coming as an EVS volunteer.The Interns need to share same home with them.The bills of house such as electricy, water and natural gas will be payed by our association.We are not responsible from cleaning and food.
ARRIVING OF CSSA
Arriving in Erzurum by plane:
Firstly, the person need to arrive in Ankara or Istanbul.Generally, There are no direct flights to Erzurum because it is in eastern Turkey.From Istanbul to Erzurum is about 2 hours.From Ankara to Erzurum is about 1 hour.Our volunteers will come to pick you up from the airport Arriving in Erzurum by bus:
Firstly, the person need to arrive in Ankara or Istanbul.The person can choose this way because is more cheaper than by plane.From Istanbul to Erzurum is approximately 20 hours and from Ankara to Erzurum is approximately 13 hours. Our volunteers will come to pick you up from bus station. Arriving in Erzurum by train:
Firstly, the person need to arrive in Ankara or Istanbul. The person who first arrives in Istanbul, needs to use high speed train from Istanbul to Ankara.It is about 4 hours.From Ankara, the person have to use East express.It is about 23 hours. Our volunteers will come to pick you up from train station.
