influences• As technology is a major thing in our society I

think a big influence for our trailer film style should be filming it to make it look like its been filmed by the characters on a hand held camera for example like in the film cloverfield. This helps the audience have a more personal level with the film and makes them feel like there in the film.

CCTV• As the paranormal activity franchise was huge and then

after people started putting camera in there own houses to see if they had ghosts started. I think this could be an influence for our film trailer style, we could produce it to make it look like some of its been filmed on CCTV or a camera set up at home. This would work for a genre as it’s the same as paranormal activity also we could make it jumpy and the audience will be watching the cctv, waiting for something to happen, but they don’t know when so they’ll be on the edge of their seat.

Guy Ritchie's style in Sherlock Holmes• Post- manipulation style- in the Sherlock Holmes

films they created this film style where everything slows down and the character explains and shows what he's going to do before it happens as well as zooming in on it and with the sound effects. I think this could be an influence as this worked extremely well in this film and I know people really enjoyed the way it was shot. Therefore this could highly influence our film style
