4 DEPARTMENTS AND POOLS ACADEMICS
D E P A R T M E N T
1. In the Academics Department, you can either help in improving others' academic standing, or be helped in your performance in your mathematics subjects.
2. We have two pools: the Tutor Pool that takes charge of Agimath+, the AMS tutorial service, and the Question Maker Pool, that oversees the contest questions and the problem solving seminars.
3. Sipnayan, FMIC, and the AMO are for members who want to rekindle their love for math competitions from the perspective of the proctors or for those who simply want to see other people, friends or not, succumb to the difficulty of the questions.
Tutor Pool* The Tutor Pool is a group of altruistic math enthusiasts set on the goal spreading the knowledge the beauty of mathematics through tutorial services.
Question Maker Pool* The Question Maker Pool is the group of creative and smart math enthusiasts who enjoys answering and making all kinds of math problems. QMP is as important as any other pool because without it, there would be no questions to be asked in the prestigious projectS of AMS such as Sipnayan, AMO, FMIC, PotW.

Documentations and promotions pool Pool Heads: Angge Purisima and Rizza Detosil The DPool is the team in charge of documentations and promotions of the AMS projects. This creative team conceptualizes and creates posters, e-mail blasts, teasers, videos, the AMS website, and so much more! They also cover AMS events through photography, and manage project files for future use.
Marketing and finance associates Pool Heads: Benetz Branzuela and Jason Escartin We are Marketers, not unscrupulous salesmen looking for a quick buck. We grow by telling meaningful stories and creating connections that matter and fostering productive relationships. Our experience helps us mature and gain self-confidence. That's why we rally support for AMS from different sectors: government, business, and academe. Our ventures like Trinket Town give us the finances to support our members and projects. We work to help others grow.
Special projects ambassadors Pool Head: Aldwin Dykimching SPAm, or the Special Projects Ambassadors, is in-charge of the projects and events outside of the departments. They are the ones involved in the special projects of the AMS, such as the Formation Seminars and Math Summit. SPAm also works with COA (Council of Organizations of the Ateneo) and the STC (Science and Technology Cluster) in their projects such as RecWeek, Blue Christmas and STC Week. Not only that, they also have a hand in tie-ups with other organizations, bot in and out of the Loyola Schools.
