Michael Weber has been and educator and choral musician for over 30 years. He has taught elementary through college during his career. He currently is the Associate Director of Choral Activities at North Dakota State University, where he teaches courses in music education, choral literature and conducting. At NDSU, he directs the Madrigal Singers and the Statesmen of NDSU. His undergraduate degree is from the University of North Dakota; his master’s degree is from California State University, Fullerton; and his doctorate is from the University of Arizona. He has previously taught at the collegiate level in Texas and Maryland. His public school teaching experience is in North Dakota. Weber has pieces published through Alliance Music Publications, Alfred Music Publishing, Pavane Publishing, and he is the editor for the NDSU Challey School of Music Choral Series distributed by Graphite Publishing.

“Infant Holy, Infant Lowly” is a traditional Polish carol. The piece was translated into English in 1921. It is a simple, yet beautiful carol that tells the story of Christ the babe in the manger and the shepherds in the fields.
