FOOD: Many restaurants and snacks from fries, to take away couscous, pizzasto burgers and thai food not to mention japanese from ramen to fusion foodand Portuguese specialties

CULTURE: Big cultural center called Flagey with cinema every day and manyevents: conferences, concerts, film festivals. Not to mention Theater Marni andLa Clarencire another small theater (very close to La Soupape). Maison deQuartier Malibran has some things going on, too. Not too far, there's theMuseum of Ixelles and Museum for Children, and also the Contemporary ArtCenter, La Loge and several art galleries.

OUTDOOR: Ponds of Ixelles are a must see and architecture surrounding isamazing. You can easily walk from Flagey to Soignies Forest, via greenitinerary (ponds, then abbaye de la Cambre, then Bois de la Cambre andForest!) And check the Petite Rue Malibran...

BUSINESS & SHOPPING: FM Brussels (the best radio in town) and BrusselsDeze Week Newspaper have their office here! There's two nice bookshops (Ptyx and Brsel) and there's a LOT of secondhand shops and nice boutiques like Reservoir Shop! Not to mention twodesign venues (Le Vistemboir & Le Petit Coin). And Architects, artists &designers probably know already LaserCut Lab.
