• INDYCAR is the governing body of IZOD IndyCar Series, Firestone Indy Lights, STAR Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear and the Cooper Tire presents the USF2000 National Champion- ship powered by Mazda.

• All letters in INDYCAR are capitalized.

In order for an Entrant and Driver to be eligible to earn awards and points, all Entrant representatives’ uniforms, cars and/or other equipment shall display the required emblems unless otherwise approved by Officials (seeillustration1.1). Each emblem must appear as provided and in the designated color schemes unless otherwise approved. Entrants must submit a sample of the vector artwork and must be approved in advance.

STAR Mazda Championship

STAR Mazda will require certain emblem placement on all Cars, transporters, equipment, Driver suits and Team uniforms in order for a Team and/or Driver to be eligible for awards and points in the STAR Mazda Championship presented by Good-year. Each emblem must appear as provided and in the des-ignated color scheme unless otherwise approved. Teams are encouraged to submit digital photographs of the Cars, trans-porters, equipment, Driver suits and Team uniforms prior to March 1st 2011 for STAR’s review and approval. All equipment, uniforms, and Driver suits may be inspected for compliance with emblem placement requirements at any time. All emblems must be in place prior to the beginning of each Event during the season. STAR may also require the removal of objection-able or conflicting advertising (See Rule 1.4).

Firestone Indy Lights

Firestone Indy Lights

• The current Firestone Indy Lights emblem(s) (with presenting sponsor, if applicable) as follows (seeillustration3.2): 1. Seriesemblem – a total of three emblems as follows: Oneemblem in a minimum dimension of 2.75 inches by 2.38 inches facing forward on top of the camera mount disc; and Twoemblems each in a minimum dimension of 1.25 inches by 1.1 inches on the sides of the camera mount disc. 2. Serieswebsiteemblem – one emblem in a minimum dimension of 3.25 inches by .45 inches on the back of the camera mount disc.

• The emblem(s) of any Firestone Indy Lights sponsor(s) required by INDYCAR including but not limited to: 1.TireManufacturer – A minimum of four emblems, each with dimensions of at least 2 inches by 14 inches: Twooftheemblems shall be displayed on the leading upper edges of the left and right side- pods of the Car (seeillustration3.3); The other twoemblems shall be displayed just forward of both the left and right rear wheels on a vertical surface of the Car perpendicular to the racing surface (seeillustration3.4). Firestone logos must be either white, black or red (PMS 485) and contrasting to the cars paint scheme. 2. Awardsponsors – unless otherwise provided, each emblem must appear just forward of both the left and right rear wheels on a vertical surface of the Car perpendicular to the racing surface in a minimum dimension as specified. Unless otherwise approved, the required area must be free of all other decals, trim and decorations.

• The current IZOD IndyCar Series emblem(s) (with presenting sponsor, if applicable) as follows: 1. One stacked dimensional emblem in a minimum dimension of 12.25 inches wide by 6.3 inches high on the left and right sides of the Car on the upper most leading edge of the engine cover. If the emblem is applied by paint, it does not have to appear dimensional (seeillustration4.5). 2. One emblem in a minimum dimension of 7 inches wide by 2.36 inches high on the nose of the Car below the Car number (does not have to be directly below car number) (seeillustration4.3). 3. One emblem in a minimum dimension of 4 inches wide by 1.349 inches high toward the leading edge of the upper sidepod (by the rear view mirror base) for in-car camera viewing on either the left or right side of the car (seeillustration4.5).

• The emblem(s) of any IZOD IndyCar Series sponsor(s) required by INDYCAR including but not limited to: 1. TireManufacturer – A minimum of four emblems, each with dimensions of at least 2 inches by 14 inches: Two of the emblems shall be displayed on the leading upper edges of the left and right sidepods of the Car (seeillustration4.3) The other two emblems shall be displayed just forward of both the left and right rear wheels on a vertical surface of the Car perpendicular to the racing surface (see illustration4.4). Firestone logos must be either white, black or red (PMS 485) and contrasting to the cars paint scheme. 2. EngineManufacturer One wordmark emblem in a minimum dimension of 20 inches wide by 2.421 inches high on the left and right sides of the Car diagonally down 2.421 inches from the IZOD IndyCar Series emblem by 2.4 inches on the Engine cover(seeillustration4.5). The third emblem shall be a minimum width of 6 inches displayed on the nose in an INDYCAR-approved location (seeillustration4.5).

3. AwardSponsors – Unless otherwise provided, each emblem must appear on the upper portion inside of the left and right rear wing end fences in a minimum dimension as specified. Unless otherwise approved, the required area must be free of all other decals, trim and decorations. FuelSupplier The four color Sunoco supplied emblem must be displayed on the upper portion to the front of the inside of both the left and right rear wing end fences in a minimum dimension of 4.5 inches by 7.333 inches in the designated award sponsor area (seeillustration4.6). MotorOil The Entrant’s Car must display the PEAK supplied emblem in the designated award sponsor location on the upper portion to the rear of the inside of the left and right wing end fences in a minimum dimension of 4 inches by 5.125 inches (seeillustration4.6). Prefer Sunoco towards the front and PEAK towards the rear.

Some awards may have additional requirements as it relates to emblem display. This includes: To be eligible for “Xtrac”Award, Xtrac decal must be displayed in a minimum dimension on each side of the crash attenuator. For exact dimensions, contact Xtrac. To be eligible for “BOSCH”Award, Entrant’s Car must display BOSCH decals in a minimum dimension on the nose or the left and right sides of the Car and Driver and crew uniforms must display a BOSCH patch in a minimum dimension and designated location. For exact dimensions, contact BOSCH.

1. FuelTanks– All fuel tanks must display the following emblems: Engine Manufacturer emblem in a minimum dimension on each side of the fuel tank unless otherwise approved by the Engine Manufacturer (seeillustration4.7). Fuel Supplier emblem in a minimum dimension of 6 inches tall by 4.5 inches wide on the front side of the fuel tank (facing pit lane) unless otherwise approved by INDYCAR. Entrants must display the Ethanol emblem on the front of all fuel tanks (seeillustration4.8). Sunoco sign (7 inches by 12 inches) must be displayed on both the front and rear of the fuel vent (fuel tank) during every qualification session and race. Teams must use yellow vent hoses on the fuel tanks. 2. Transporters– All transporters must display the current IZOD IndyCar Series dimensional emblem(s) (with presenting sponsor emblem, if applicable) in a minimum dimension of 3 feet wide on the left and right sides of the transporters in a mutually agreed location unless otherwise approved by INDYCAR.
