The transport links are good as there is an A class road (1) which means goods can be transported in and out quickly (1).The main disadvantages of the site are that it’s difficult to expand (1) due to the sloping land to the north (1), with wooded areas to the east and south (1) and marshy land to the north (1).

There are many advantages to this site. There is flat land to build on and room for expansion to the north (2). Also the aircraft taking off and landing to the north don’t go over many houses (1). The size of the city provides a good market for the airport (1). There are good transport links for the airport such as A96(T) dual carriageway in to the city (1) and the railway links from Dyce (1).The disadvantages are that the flightpath does go over some housing which creates noise and air pollution (1). Also expansion is difficult to both the east and west (1).
