Natural Resources Personas

• Maintenance Technician – travels from job site to job site or equipment to equipment. Performs maintenance on site. Needs access to equipment, work order, PM, inventory and purchasing information.

• Maintenance Scheduler – Plans and creates the work schedules for the maintenance technicians. Needs visibility across overdue, incoming, upcoming, planned, and emergency work, as well as availability of technicians and tools.

This horizontal bar chart shows the percent of time equipment grouped by manufacturer was both available and not available. It is based on the calculated grid columns for availability in the One View Reporting Equipment Status Inquiry application (P13400).

This table shows the average portion of time available for equipment grouped by Product Family. Additionally, the average downtime duration (in days) is presented. It is based on the calculated grid columns in the One View Reporting Equipment Status Inquiry application (P13400).

This horizontal gauge shows the average number of days for each location that equipment at that

location spent time there. The green, yellow and red show thresholds for

number of days. The black bar in the middle of each horizontal gauge

indicates the average number of days equipment spent time at each

location. It is based on the calculated grid columns in the One View

Reporting Equipment Location Inquiry application (P13230).


This horizontal bar chart shows the average difference between total estimated and total actual costs for work orders (parts, labor, other costs) by site. It is based on the calculated grid columns for costs in the One View Reporting Work Order Analysis application (P13560).

This table shows the number of work orders that are 0-30 days old, 30-90 days old, 90+ days old or scheduled for the future for each supervisor. It is based on the calculated grid columns in the One View Reporting Work Order Analysis application (P13560).

This single percent represents the average percent that preventive maintenance orders (PMs) have actually been completed compared to their schedule. It is the average across all equipment and PM services. For example, if a truck was scheduled to have it's tires rotated 4 times a year and only 3 rotations were done, the PM fulfillment percentage for that service would be 75%. It is based on the calculated grid columns in the One View Reporting PM Analysis application (P13570).


This line graph shows the monthly rate that work orders are being planned to start for each business unit for the past 13 months. The Planned Start Date is used to determine when work orders were planned to start. It is based on the calculated grid columns in the One View Reporting Work Order Analysis application (P13560).

This line graph shows the monthly rate that work orders are being completed for each business unit for the past 13 months. The Actual Finish Date is used to determine when work orders were completed. It is based on the calculated grid columns in the One View Reporting Work Order Analysis application (P13560).

• Based on Work With Work Orders application (P48201) where the logged in user is entered in the work order Assigned To field.

• Represents only work orders that have been completed (Actual Finish Date is not blank).

• For those completed work orders, this represents the percent where the Requested Finish Date is equal to or greater than the Actual Finish Date, hence completed early or on-time.



• Based on the Work With Work Orders application (P48201) where the logged in user is entered in the work order Assigned To field.

• Represents work orders with a Planned Finish Date in this day/week/month (user defined by query).

• The size of the bar is the total labor hours with the work order number shown on each bar. This provides an indication of how much work has been assigned to the technician this week and whether he is over or under assigned.

• Lot Start Coordinator – Primary role responsible for Lot Start & day to day construction operations. Need visibility into After Start processes (TBD, Est Qtys, etc,) EPO processing, margin review/cost analysis.

Status - shows the portion of the cost made up by items at each status (Community Posting Status / LSWPOSTC) - to understand what the values mean, you can look at the UDC in the grid's QBE field

Trade - shows the portion of the cost made up by items that correspond to specific trades (e.g., plumbing, framing, electrical, etc.) -the trade field is CAT 1 (RPO 1)

Base and Option - shows the portion of the cost fitting into different option packages. The dark blue is base cost, and then there are certain option packages that increase the cost. The option field is Option Number (OPTION)

In all cases, Lot Job Number is used to uniquely identify the houses (e.g., 11010002 in the below examples.) Extended Price (AEXP) is the value being summed.

Maintenance Scheduler users only four queries because some cards are based on the same application and the same data set within that application. The query they share represents a single set of data selection criteria, and the result is a single set of grid rows. Those grid rows are then rendered appropriately for each card. This reduces the number of queries the user has to manage, and it also reduces server overhead by combining multiple application invocations into a single invocation.

Max Records• As a performance fail-safe, Max Records can be used

to set a maximum number of records (grid rows) to consider.• There is also a system-imposed hard limit

(defaulted to 500, but configurable).• The end user can choose a value that is smaller

(more restrictive) than this system-imposed limit, but if the user enters a larger value, the system limit will apply.

• This feature exists only to avoid very long-running tiles when there is too much data to render effectively.• In general, the query should be used to properly

filter data to a number of rows that is less than or equal to max records.

• If Max Records is artificially truncating your set of data rows, the data visualization may not accurately reflect all the data.
