Tehnološki determinizem:
Tehnologija se od nekod pojavi – kot mogočna naravna sila – in mi
se ji moramo čim prej prilagoditi.
“Businessmen, technicians, customers,
politicians, and bureaucrats are all involved
to one degree or another. They meet in the
design process where they wield their
influence by proffering or withholding
resources, assigning purposes to new devices,
fitting them into prevailing technical
arrangements to their own benefit, imposing
new uses on existing technical means and so
on. The interests and worldview of the
actors are therefore expressed in the
technologies they have co-designed.”

Kdo odloča?
interesi:
• odnos do elektronske “lastnine” je drugačen kot do fizične
• spremenjen odnos do zasebnosti / zasebnega
• tehnologija omogoča nove poslovne prakse
• raba tehnologij prehiteva družbene in pravne norme
• razmah zaprtih platform
ugotovitve:
• primer Amazona in 1984
• primer google books, google street view …
• vse manj ljudi ali (zasebnih) podjetij obvladuje vse več podatkov
• problem “digitalnega Forta Knoxa”
