2017 ISTC Safety Awards

ISTC’s 21st Annual Safety Awards Banquet will be held on Tuesday, May 23,

2017 at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Beaumont-Plaza in Beaumont, Texas.

If your company would like to apply for one of ISTC’s Safety Awards, please

turn in applications is April 17, 2017.

ISTC looks forward to recognizing the excellent record of safety operations at-

tained by the contractors working in the petroleum, refining and petrochemical

manufacturing industries and related serviced of Southeast Texas.

Pipeline Operator Qualification Training

ISTC, in conjunction with OverNite Software, Inc., has the solution for compliance

with the Department of Transportation’s Operator Qualification Rule.

The pipeline operator qualification training is interactive and allows trainees to learn

at their own pace. Every module has been designed to deliver all of the learning objec-

tives and then evaluate the proficiency of the trainee. Upon successful completion of

various modules, trainees will receive an ISTC badge with their completed courses. A

certificate of completion can be provided, upon request.

Each employer is responsible for determining the required training modules for their

employees, based on the tasks they will be performing.
