With solid experience in industrial risk, Honeywell Safety Products designs and manufactures all of its gloves with the aim of guaranteeing comfort, safety and suitability in the workplace. Our business know-how at each stage of production ensures a uniform level of quality. Furthermore, close relationships have been entered into with large industry companies (automotive, agri-food, glass, foundry, metallurgy, etc.)

NEW advanced glove manufacturing facility opensHoneywell recently announced the opening of the largest and most advanced manufacturing facility for protective gloves in China. The facility, Honeywell Safety Protective Products (Nantong) Company Limited, is located in Rudong, Nantong in the Jiangsu Province and will cover 23,639 square meters floor area with an investment of $15 million. The site recently began operations with an estimated annual production capacity of more than 60 million pairs of protective gloves.

The facility offers a variety of high-performance protective gloves to customers around the world, as well as customised products to meet the specific needs of local market. In addition, it is the only repair centre for stainless steel mesh gloves in the Greater China region.

The site will also house Honeywell’s global protective glove Research & Development centre to lead technological advancement in the protective glove industry. In the near future, the plant will introduce the development and production of other safety products, becoming an important safety product hub for Honeywell worldwide.

CUT/SEWN GLOVES

The natural qualities of leather has made cut/sewn gloves the ideal glove for protection. Its qualities of comfort, longevity and its high mechanical resistance performances are now optimised by specific chemical treatments applied to the skin.

KNITTED AND SOAKED GLOVES

Due to the high level of comfort and the exceptional dexterity, seamless knitted gloves have become the product of choice in many industries. Depending on the properties required, natural fibres, such as cotton, can be used for its comfort and its ability to absorb humidity, or synthetic fibres, such as polyamide or polyester, for their resistance and even high performance fibres.

CHEMICAL PROTECTION GLOVES

Chemical protection gloves, whether protected via direct soaking from porcelain vehicles or through soaking on supports, are synonymous with extreme performance in terms of resistance against the most diverse risks.

The choice and combination of raw materials during manufacturing is essential to ensure the expected results:

• Natural Latex: excellent resistance to aqueous chemical products

• Néoprène: resists diluted acids and petroleum products

• NBR (Nitrile Butadien Rubber): excellent resistance to petroleum products and solvents as well as to perforation

• PVC: very high abrasion resistance
