    INTRODUCTION

    The term "Employee Relationship Management" (acronym ERM),translate as "management of the relationship with the employees" refers tothe use of technologies in the management of human resources. Thisconcept is based on client relationship management, with the employee atits center.

    This involves implementing a dedicated information system for themanagement of human resources (generally referred to as HRIS), whichmakes it possible to cover all problems that are related with the relationshipbetween a company and its employees, in particular:

    Training, i.e. the preparation of an overall training plan of thecompany which makes it possible to handle a catalog of compulsory oroptional internships, requests by employees, and tracking of training

    actions.

    Pay, to prepare a statement of payments and mailing of salarybulletins,

    Recruiting, in particular follow-up on recruiting interviews and newrecruits;

    Competence and career management, consisting in theimplementation of a competence reference standard which permitsimproved management of jobs within the enterprise and in-housetransfers. The goal is to value human assets by prioritizing thecompetences, knowledge, and know-how of the employees.

    Time management, i.e. the management and quantification of theactivity of the employees of the company, in particular with a view tocompliance with existing laws (reduction of working hours, payment of

    overtime, accounting of vacation, work breaks and absences).

    Internal communication, which permits sensitization and transversalinformation, which makes it possible to break the isolation of thedifferent sectors of the enterprise.

    The present state of Indian employeerelation in chemical sector is improving atrelatively great rate. Many employers havestarted many programmes for thebetterment of employee relationship.

    Good Employee relation is a positiveindicator for the company growth. It helpsthe company to fulfill its future targets.

    This is one of the most perplexing sector thatis Indian chemical sector . Althoughemployers in these sectors, often theyemploy some great employee relationspractices which are the constant target of

    an International Union - they have hadseveral union elections over the last decade(which they've won - some with ourassistance).

    As a Industrial manager following steps arenecessary to be taken into consideration.Many changes have taken place as to ensure

    good employee relation:-

    1. The changes included a formalperformance appraisal system withregular feedback to team members.Supervisors were coached on bothpositive coaching skills as well as

    differentiating and coaching poorperformers.

    2. Organising get together parties for theemployess. This help employees to get

    a sip out from work stress. And employeeget opportunity to get mix up with theemployees.Many employees who are newto the companies need to adapt theculture. As such parties plays vital role inthis.

    3. Playing stress reducing games forrecreation purpose . As every employees

    should take break in between whileperforming stress ful tasks.

    4. Senior managers should appreciatetheir juniors. Rather than making theirofficial life miserable by givinginappropriate work to the subordinates.

    5. Establishing better communicationchannels to provide necessary informationto each employee of the company.

    6. Conducting programmes on timemanagement with prior goal how toreduce unnecessary movements in theorganization and on other hand increasingproductive movements.

    7. Providing a common platform whereany employee or organization promotercan express his/her
