• For best practice it is suggested that spark plugs (petrol engines) or heater plugs (diesel engines) be removed from the engine to relieve the compression pressure so aiding belt fitting

• Always turn the engine in the engines normal direction of rotation

• Take care not to trap fingers between pulleys and belt

Component part identification:

Instructions for use: NB: flexible auxiliary drive belts are not designed to be refitted after removal. Always fit a new belt.

1. Place the 07740000 on to the crankshaft pulley and adjust the leading pin so that the tooth sits in the first or second groove of the pulley

2. Tighten the leading pin lock screw (careful not to strip the threads in the alloy body)

3. Fit the new belt around all the pulleys and half way around crankshaft pulley as shown (NB: observe manufacturers direction of rotation, shown in yellow in example shown)

4. Fit 07740000 so leading pin is trapped against the pulley by the belt

5. Using appropriate socket and ratchet turn the crankshaft in the manufacturers recommended DOR.

Swivels by nature, if not by name!l The ratchet features a swivelling head that can be released in any position.

This means you can work easily even in cramped or awkward spaces.

l The defined locking points at 0o, 90o left and right, and 15o/90o inwards prevents

the ratchet head from slipping for reliable work.

l The special feature: at the 0o position the ratchet can take a socket or the Zyklop

bit holder and be used like a conventional screwdriver.
