Responsibilities:• Working on a project to automate the Quarterly Cycle Time Target Setting Process for

the upcoming quarter. Achievements:• Successfully reduced the time duration for the whole process from average two weeks to

one week.• Extensively utilized Microsoft Project for the purpose of project planning.• Extensively utilized Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio for the purpose of data

retrieval from the database.

Chemical Maintenance Technician at VIASYSTEMS Inc. 1200 Severn way, Sterling 20166 VA, March 2015- December 2015.

Responsibilities:• Performs daily, weekly and monthly Preventive Maintenance on the process lines.• Work as a HAZMAT employee.• Shipping and receiving of Hazardous material.• Perform chemical analysis on chemicals used in different processes.• Update and print the chemical maintenance schedule in TrueChem (SPC software).

DAWLANCE Pvt. Ltd Final Year Project, Pakistan, December 2013—December 2014Achievements:• Developed high level and low level process maps for the processes by tracking the

product from raw material receiving to the final quality inspection of the product.• Performed process FMEA.• Identified critical defects in refrigerators that were mainly affecting the quality.• Identified the root causes of those defects.• Applied six sigma tools and techniques to decrease the defects/ variations in the process.• Significant improvements were observed in the processes after the implementation of

six sigma.• Reduced cost of poor quality. • Suggest the improved layout for the foaming assembly.• New process design reduced the cost of product (refrigerator).

Internship Project at DAWLANCE Pvt. Ltd, Pakistan, May 2013—July 2013Achievements:• Reduced the waste and cycle time of the assembly process by using time and motion

study techniques.• Reduced the number of workers required on the line for operation.• Modified the layout of the assembly line.• Successfully balanced the line.• Increased the efficiency of the washing machine assembly line by about 10%.

Project in spring 2012.• Designed an emergency evacuation plan for Industrial Automation laboratory in NED

University in fall 2014.
