Industrial Maintenance– Mechanic
Course Description
This program will provide students with a solid background of Industrial
Maintenance Mechanic practices and principles as well as an
understanding of HVAC requirements. The program will prepare students
with industrial safety concepts and practices, industrial methods and tool
use, basic HVAC practices, practical industrial maintenance mechanical
practices and college success skills.
Students will train on state-of-the-art equipment used in industry. A major
focus will be placed on practical and safety practices dealing with industrial
maintenance mechanics. Mechanical practical experiences will be
incorporated throughout the curriculum. Topics within the curriculum
include: pumping systems, HVAC systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
and fundamentals of welding.
**Please note, in addition to Technical and Program
requirements, students must complete the requirements for
graduation at the base school.
