Joint-stock Company ”VODSTROI 98” was established in the town of Sliven in 1998 as a successor of State-owned Enterprise ”Hydro-Technical Engineering”.

The company preserved and developed the good production practices of the former company which had been established and implemented in the course of many years.

History and business activities

The company’s main objective is to provide products and services meeting the requirements of clients and of the legislative acts and standards applicable to design, production and construction and installation works, as well as to improve continuously the quality of all activities performed by the company providing safe and healthy labour conditions and preserving environment.

In order to improve the confidence of our clients and partners, the team of VODSTROI’ 98 JSC continuously maintains and improves the quality of performance by implementing the following systems:

286 employees work under full-time contracts at VODSTROI ’98 JSC and all of them have considerable professional experience and take active part in development of the company projects. When need be, their number is increased to up to 382 persons. The Company has the required human, technological and managerial potential to perform construction and installation works in a volume of more than 100 000 m2 of built area annually. Alongside construction activities the company has also developed production activities. We produce aggregate materials, concrete mixtures, mortar, various adhesives, steel pipes and fittings, sewer pipes, steel elements, paving elements and curbs, concrete and thermal panels and pipes, mobile garage units, woodwork elements, concrete bricks, metal structures, etc. The good reputation of VODSTROI ’98 JSC and the expanding market niche of the company come as a result of the high quality construction and installation works, the short term of their completion, the optimal market prices and the loyalty to our clients and partners. Evidence of the right approaches employed in the management of the company activities and the work programme for continuous upgrading of the qualification of the staff, as well as the high requirements to the performed works, is the fact that the company is accepted as an equal partner by a number of leading Bulgarian companies in the course of implementation of contracts on construction and installation works of projects of significance for the national security.

A consortium between VODSTROI ’98 JSC and ENEMONA JSC, where the management of VODSTROI’ 98 JSC plays the leading part, implements a contract on engineering, design and implementation of facilities, design, reconstruction, repairs and launching into exploitation of bases of State Agency “State Reserve and Wartime Stocks” in compliance with the requirements of the Bulgarian and European legislation.

A consortium between “Montage Complect Engineering” EOOD and VODSTROI ‘98 JSC joined their efforts and potential to implement a contract on engineering and construction, comprising design and construction of vessel volumes; design, reconstruction, repairs and launching into exploitation of petro storage bases of State Agency “State Reserve and Wartime Stocks” in compliance with the requirements of the Bulgarian and European legislation.

Implementation of these two contracts on performance of construction and installation works of project concerning the national security and resource provision of the country is a proof of the upward tendency of development of the company and the right decisions made by the managing team.

For the last two years, independently and in joint ventures with other companies, our company has built a great number of industrial and public projects: new residential areas, representation offices of banks and administrative buildings, hotels, storage facilities, etc. of total built area exceeding 158 thousand square meters, as well as repairs and modernization of facilities for storage of petroleum products of capacity exceeding 442 thousand cubic meters with the ancillary equipment and infrastructure to the total amount of over €75 million.

Since 25.11.2009 VODSTROI ’98 JSC was granted NCAGE – a code of supplier under 00PLU – the codification system of NATO.

VELIKO TARNOVO WATER AND WASTEWATER INFRASTRUCTURE

Objective of the preliminary design is a new water supply and sewerage network to be constructed on the territory of Veliko Tarnovo, which to cover the new downtown - the territory of the ex military school, road junction Kachitza, Magistralna Str. and the „Central urban area”.

Outcome will be decrease of the drinking water losses from 70 % to 20%, increase of the quality, effectiveness, efficiency and environmental friendliness of the water and sewerage services in the town.


Vodstroi ’98 JSC, in the capacity of main contractor of the large-scale project performs the construction and installation works related to construction of 37 km new water supply and sewerage network, employing modern technologies and mechanization for the individual works. Performance of the construction and installation works is in compliance with schedule, ensuring the regular course of the urban life in Veliko Tarnovo, approved by the municipality.

Indicative for the significance of the project is construction of Main sewage collector I (Ф2000GRP), passing through South road junction – a part of European road Е772 (class I-4 of the National road network), one of the most important transport corridors in the country. .

Building had been constructed in the end of XIX and the beginning of XX century are has the shapes of the classic architecture. It is a part of the cultural monument Sofia Arsenal. The features are preserved and the accent is on the idea of époques integration and addition of modern solutions.

Green design concept underlies the reconstruction – use of ecologically friendly materials. Internal lighting is attractive – exposition lighting implemented with a bus way system, luminescent lighting fittings and light-emitting diode projectors, manufactured by one of the leading companies Zumtobel, Austria, which allows in the course of operation lighting fittings to be relocated down the buses, tailored to the needs of each individual exhibition.

CULTURAL MONUMENTS

The external art architecture lighting of the building is implemented with projectors, manufactured by BEGA, Germany. Control of lighting is by the means of programmable timer controller with calendar, which turns lighting on and off 30 minutes prior to sunset and 30 minutes prior to sunrise respectively.

Since September 2011 "Industrial Construction – Holding" LTD is property of "Vodstroi’ 98" JSC. "Industrial Construction – Holding" LTD was a 100% state-owned business entity and was part of the structure of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works of the Republic of Bulgaria. The company was founded in 1952 and is the assignee of “Industrial Construction” and “Metal Constructions”, both of which were organisations with excellent local and international experience and practice in the field of construction and building, as well as in metal constructions, building of factory premises and production of cold bent profiles.

The Organisation took part in the construction of nuclear power stations, metallurgic and machine building plants, chemical plants, thermal power stations, cement producing plants, paper mills, commercial buildings and sports facilities, residential buildings, as well as national landmarks as the National Palace of Culture, Asparuh Bridge in Varna, the Vitinia bridges on the Hemus motorway, the Sanitary Faience factory in the town of Sevlievo and numerous recuperation facilities and hotels. The Company has completed a large number of construction projects on the territory of Russia, Ukraine and Germany. For the past 15 years the Company has been building in Germany mainly, taking part in the construction of the BMW Museum, the Bavarian Museum Repository, an extension of the Andernach Thermal Power Station, sports facilities, schools, residential buildings and others.

In the completion of specific projects special attention is paid to protecting and improving environment.

This is an expansion of an existing thermal power plant. The new building works include: construction of a waste matter receiving bunker, 32m above ground 0; waste matter storage bunker, 32m above ground 0; 2 boiler rooms; turbine room and control room. The facilities constructed are 8,50m below ground 0. The facility is a household waste processing cogeneration plant producing electricity and hot water. “Industrial Construction – Holding” LTD was contracted and performed the heavy construction works, which were completed in 2007.

The site is part of the BMW Compound in Munich which includes a museum, an automobile delivery centre, conference halls, shops etc. The compound of buildings is located opposite the Olympic Stadium in Munich. "Industrial Construction - Holding" LTD carried out some reinforcement construction which was completed in 2006.

The reconstruction of the Arena was carried out in connection with the World Championship for ice speed skating held in March 2011. “Industrial Construction – Holding” LTD carried out concrete and steel construction as well as masonry.

The site is in town of Inzell, at the bottom of the Alps, in the province of Bavaria, approximately 20 km from Ruhpolding. It is an enclosed arena for ice speed skating, built on the site of a former old open-air arena for ice skating (known as Ludwig - Schwabl - Stadion).

The site is located in an upper middle - class neighborhood in the northeastern periphery of the city of Munchen. This is a renovation and conservation of an old flour - mill with 80 cm thick outer walls into modern luxury dwellings as well as four new family houses with large basement floor under the level of the small river that once drove the mill and now drives the small water turbine generating the electricity needed to cover the needs of the complex. “Industrial Construction – Holding” LTD was contracted and performed the heavy construction works, which were completed in 2004.

Residential complex, 2nd part of the Sperberweg Str., in UnterschleiBheim - Hollern, 2 BA, Germany - about 6 or 7 km out of the Munich city-limit. The complex consist of 4 small residential buildings with large underground parking space.

The site is located in the northwestern section of the very intensively developing town of Unterhaching -about 5 km out of the Munich city-limit. This is a complex of two small residential buildings with underground floors, ground floor and three more floors, containing a totat of 30 apartments. The 2nd picture of the page shows two of the finalized an now habitable six blocks of family houses with total of 27 adjacent family houses, consisting of a basement floor and a duplex apartment above, as well as a small garden, about 9 x 10 m. A large underground parking space accommodates the entire complex. “Industrial Construction – Holding” LTD was contracted and performed the heavy construction works, which were completed in 2006.
