Fabrimex Systems has been at home in the electronics industry ever since its founding in 1947. The business began as a distributor of capacitors for reactive current compensation, then soon expanded into products from Texas Instruments and International Rectifier.

As technology advanced, the product portfolio grew from individual components to entire computer systems. But that was not all: responding to increased customer demands for complete solutions, the company put major emphasis on establishing its own manufacturing capability and development teams in the mid-1970s. The tradition continues to this day: alongside classical distribution activities, Fabrimex Systems develops and produces every kind of custom solution for industrial com-puters and image processing.

The early 2000s saw a competence centre set up in Taiwan to support our en-gineers and technicians in Switzerland and also to look after our international customers. Proximity to all the major manufacturers is one major advantage here; shorter delivery routes within Asia are another.

In parallel with the long product cycles that are possible today, we are able to sup-port you every step of the way from initial idea to series production.

Monitors and panel PCs, for example, all use projected capacitive touchscreen technology (PCT or PCAP) that has risen to prominence primarily through use in commercially available smartphones. Here too, we can of course implement your wishes and requi-rements quickly and easily.

The ‚Swiss Made‘ line also lends further strength to Switzerland as a production base. The monitors and panel PCs in this series are fully assembled in Switzerland and im-press with their robustness and elegance.
