Objective: Determine that the sensory nerve endings have different distribution in the body.
MaterialsMaterials Ruler, Paper Clips, Blindfold
1)Prepare the paper clips by bending it to form a U-shaped (from no separation to increments of 2mm all the way to 10mm.)2 ) Blindfold one partner and mark with one spot in your
partner’s arm.
3 ) Lightly touch the ends of the paper clips (make sure to use the paper clips in random order) on the marked spot.
4) Ask your partner, “Do you feel two ends touching you?” Record their response (Yes or No).
5) Perform 3 trials (each trial means using all 6 paperclips in random)
6 ) After finished with arm, do the same steps for your partners fingertips, leg.
