Dojang Rules Rules 1. Lessons must be paid for before the start of every training session

2. No bullying

3. No swearing

4. No smoking in the training hall

5. Instructors must be informed of any medical conditions or medication

6. Student should try to be respectful at all times; children should respect their elders

7. Respect must be shown to higher grades than yourself

8. All club equipment must be respected and looked after

9. No chewing in class

10. At least 80% attendance must be achieved before grading

Class Conduct 1. If you have an injury you must tell the instructor before the start of the class

2. Bow every time you enter and leave the room

3. Every effort should be made to be punctual for class

4. If you are late, you must go up to the instructor, bow and let them know you are there before joining

in

5. If you have to leave the class early you must inform the instructor in advance, then when it is time to

leave approach them, bow and tell them you are leaving

6. If you need to ask something during class go up to the instructor and bow before asking

7. When speaking to a senior instructor or black belt you must bow first

8. Do not interrupt the instructor if they are speaking

9. If you want to leave the training area (i.e. for toilets, drinks etc) you must ask the instructor first

10. When lining up class lines will begin with Instructors, then Dan grades, then Kup grades

11. Spectators & parents should be quiet during class

12. During class only instructors are allowed to sit on the chairs

13. No students should have their hands on their hips or their arms folded at any time

Dress Rules 1. All graded members must wear correct uniform (including a belt)

i. Ladies: White Uniform (including white t-shirt under uniform )

ii. Men: White Uniform (NO T-shirt under uniform)

2. Kwon shoes only to be worn at senior instructors discretion

3. Finger and toe nails must be kept short

4. No watches, rings, bracelets, necklaces etc to be worn in class

Taegeuk il Jang Heaven and Light First Taegeuk ie, the movements of this Poomse associated with the symbol "Keon". Keon is the creative force that is in all things. Keon is powerful and aggressive, and it is represented by heaven and light. When practicing Il Jang, the principles of Keon apply. Heaven gives us rain and light makes plants grow. Keon is therefore considered as the beginning of everything and everyone on earth. Accordingly begin poomsees with Keon. When practicing this Poomse is recommended this concept to think about, and the style of your move to influence.

Taegeuk Sam Jang Fire and Sun Includes movements that the principle of 'R' application, which is both 'fire' and 'sun' means. Fire helped mankind for centuries to survive, but on the other hand made it for catastrophe. A burning fire brings people light, warmth, enthusiasm and hope. The movements of this Taegeuk have the qualities of fire simulation. Like fire, this Taegeuk performed in a rhythmic manner with regular outbursts. Hands, feet and body are successively used in defense. These movements help us to carry out our attacks energetic, and are associated with a variety of speed and power.

Taegeuk Sa Jang Thunder Sa Jang is a series of movements that the principle of "Jin" applies. Jin symbolizes 'thunder' (sound without content), and is expressed as courage and steadfastness. Although thunder and lightning causing fear, this principle states that we should act calmly and bravely in fear and danger. This taugeuk contains many files that inner calm and balance show as defenses with attacks, and forward steps that the operator must exercise vigorously, but from which he must immediately fall back into combat stance.
