Presently working as a ful l �me Consultant Cancer And Laparoscopic Surgeon, At 3C Cancer Care Centre at

stNadkarni's 21 Century Hospitals Pvt Ltd, VAPI since March 2012. He has done over 3000 laparoscopic procedures and over 1000 major cancer surgeries over a short period of four years. Is probably the youngest teacher to start his own

laparoscopic training centre. Apart from a�ending and visi�ng his own centres at KillaPardi, Vapi, Surat & Valsad, he also visits other 8-10 hospitals, for free lancing and mobile lap units for rural places, encouraging surgeons from Boisar in north Maharashtra to Surat in South Gujarat, to take up laparoscopy.

He is a rotary club & a LIONs club member of Vapi and Valsad, apart from being ac�ve in Badminton & running Marathons, he has s where he has delivered over ocial cancer awareness program,320 lectures for tobacco deaddic�on and woman cancer awareness along with holding various free cancer screening check up camps all over Valsad district in last 4 years crea�ng awareness about cancer and done more than 300 free cancer surgeries and over 500 chemotherapies, through his Nadkarni Medical Founda�on, for poor cancer pa�ents.For this, he was awarded twice – once by DainikBhaskar group – YOUTH ICON AWARD OF VALSAD DISTRICT 2014 AND BHARAT JYOTI AWARD AT DELHI BY INDIA INTERNATIONAL FRIENDSHIP SOCIETY 2015.He is and aims to reduce passionate about his work and surgeriesthe incidence of cancer in Valsad district and has a vision to spread cancer awareness and help early cancer detec�on across the district. He invites like - minded people, to come forward and help this cause to make a huge cancer hospital project in Vapi by 2018 – a social venture that needs public support – for ge�ng a radia�on therapy and all cancer under one roof treatment at Vapi soon.

Know your Trainer Dr. Akshay Nadkarni

I had come for IVF training under Dr. Purnima Nadkarni mam, when I first worked under Dr. Akshay sir. I saw few of his surgeries and had decided to take laparoscopy training under him only. I joined for one month laparoscopy course in September 2016 and had an unbelievable and awesome experience.. Had lots n lots of hands on for lap myomectomies and TLH. Before joining here, I didn't even

know to place trocar, but a�er comple�ng the training I have got so much confidence even for TLH. I' ll always be obliged to sir, for teaching me so much and giving me an ul�mate experience about laparoscopic surgeries. Thank u so much sir.
