Individual Philanthropy Monitor
Foreword for NGOs and other potential beneficiaries of Individual
Donors and the development of Individual Philanthropy in Romania
30 Years after Communism, can Individual Philanthropy become not
only a Democratic Skill but also a way to educate what Democracy is?
Or is it nothing more than a contest among the smartest answers to the
simple question of “Why Should I Give You My Money?” If so, how can
the more pragmatic and skeptical be addressed and convinced?
Also, can Influencers and Corporate Brands play a more significant role
in encouraging and motivating or inspiring Individual Philanthropy?
These are areas of interest in further evaluating the opportunities to
develop the early-stage Romanian philanthropy sector and we are
looking forward to designing dedicated tools to explore this potential.
The first step is making available today the First Individual Philanthropy
Monitor for Romania, the 2019 edition, that offers a comprehensive
overview of Who, Why, What, How and Where are Individual Donations
going so far.
