What is a Carpool?A ‘Carpool’ or ‘Rideshare’ is a flexible commuting arrangement wherein a car isshared by more than one individual to travel together to their destination.

Carpools work in the following ways:

1. An individual carpools with one or more commuters but uses

his/her vehicle daily and is usually compensated towards the cost

of fuel, parking, tolls, etc.

2. Members of a carpool use their own vehicles and alternate driving responsibility on different days.

3. Individuals who do not own a vehicle, carpool by hiring one and sharing the fare.

4. Individuals with a common or en route origin and destination can carpool to work, school/college, events , etc. or even out of town.

Benefits for your Organisation1. Socially Responsible Activity (CSR)

– Bolsters your organisations ‘Green’ image and commitment to preserve the environment.

How Does it Work?

The ‘Corporate Carpool Programme’ works in the following manner:

Step 1 : Employee awareness campaign makes your team aware of the benefits of carpooling.

Step 2: Instructions to employees via email/posters/SMS on how to log on to your company’s carpool page on Indimoto.com and post their secure carpool request.

Step 3: Employees post carpool requests and receive verified responses from other company employees from nearby offices.

Step 4: Tracking & reporting of how many carpool request were posted, how many received verified response and resulted in a carpool arrangement.
