How is InnoWare integrated into IndigoVision?

IndigoVision provides complete, end-to-end IP Video Security solutions.

IndigoVision’s offering consists of following components:

- Control Center management software

- IP CCTV cameras & encoder/decoders

- NVR – Network Video Recorder

InnoWare has developed a profound integration with IndigoVision’s platforms, ensuring a stable and

resilient solution for joint projects.

Why is an integration of InnoWare into IndigoVision necessary?

To ensure that projects involving both technologies are and remain trustworthy and well performing,

even in challenging circumstances.

To avoid unnecessary (or double) hardware investments to the furthest possible extent.

To prevent operators from having to master and operate multiple systems.

To keep a solution entirely IndigoVision branded, with or without the LPR (and beyond) functionality.

To refrain from overloading the network when adding LPR (and beyond) functionality.

Thus, this integration can only be considered complete when all elements of the solutions interact

seamlessly with one another.

This is precisely the level of integration that is available today: InnoWare can connect directly to

IndigoVision’s IP cameras & encoders, InnoWare communicates directly with Control Center, and data

generated by InnoWare’s LPR engines can be stored directly into IndigoVision NVRs.

What IndigoVision cameras are supported?

All IndigoVision IP cameras and encoders are supported in our LPR engine, and InnoWare can directly

receive streams from any IndigoVision device.

What IndigoVision NVRs are supported?

All IndigoVision NVR models are supported, and InnoWare can directly send detection results and data

strings to an IndigoVision NVR for storage.

How is IndigoVision Control Center supported?

IndigoVision Control Center can receive alarm messages and detection results from our LPR engines.

This allows for data and events to be stored as bookmarks inside Control Center, for incident search

and review.

Bookmarks can be time and/or date stamps, plate numbers, site information, trigger results, or any

combination of this.

How are I/O pins and serial ports supported?

InnoWare can communicate bidirectional with I/O pins as well as with serial ports on cameras and

encoders/decoders: InnoWare engines can read the status of an I/O pin, allowing it to serve as a

detection trigger; similarly, InnoWare engines can change the status of an I/O pin, allowing it to

function as an output event (e.g. to open a barrier).

Serial ports on cameras and encoders/decoders can be used to send and receive text strings for

“talking” with external devices, like variable message panels and access control sensors/readers, (ex:

Wiegand compliant devices)

What is the advantage of such integration?

The advantage is clearly the seamless cooperation of InnoWare with IndigoVision architecture,

combined with the freedom to integrate results into Control Center.

This allows for project owners and operators to effortlessly add LPR (and beyond) functionality to their

IndigoVision installation, storing events, detections, alarms, etc within their known and trusted

environment, allowing for direct search and review from within Control Center.

Additional benefits is also that non-compatible, or even non-ONVIF, cameras can be added to an

IndigoVision installation

How does it work in practice?

Whether a new or an existing IndigoVision installation, InnoWare’s solutions can easily and directly be

added.

An InnoWare server is connected onto the IndigoVision installation, in any location or position on the

same or on a different, connected, network.

It is worth noting that detection can also be performed in a fully distributed architecture, whereby the

InnoWare server may be located in a completely different location that the IndigoVision system.

This server receives footage directly from the cameras, and interprets and manages these.

Results from the detection(s) are sent to Control Center for storing as events or bookmarks.

What added value do we bring for an IndigoVision partner?

The integrator can implement InnoWare into any IndigoVision installation, new or existing.

An InnoWare solution can be configured, installed, managed and amended locally or remotely.

The InnoWare engine can facilitate integration of non-compatible components into IndigoVision.

What added value do we bring for an IndigoVision customer?

An InnoWare solution can be added with minimal (additional) investment.

For a Control Center operator an InnoWare solution is completely transparent.

An InnoWare solution can be implemented without delay, even remotely.
