The Dragons Reconciliation Action Plan committee, players and staff would like to invite artists from within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community to become a key part of the 2022 Indigenous Round celebrations by submitting a painting design for consideration to be incorporated with the 2022 Dragons Indigenous Jersey and associated supporter's merchandise. DESIGN BRIEF - Submissions must capture the spirit and passion of the Dragons fans and recognise and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture in our community. - Artist to provide brief background on the design. It would be expected that a storyline would accompany the artwork which clearly explains all aspects of the design. This would encapsulate the Dragons spirit, it's commitment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and ideally grounded in Country. - Design must be authentic, an original work of the artist submitting the design. - Artist must be aged 16 or over. - Entry is limited to one design per artist. DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS - Design base colour for the painting must be able to be applied to a black jersey. - Artist may also supply examples of the design applied onto a jersey. PROCESS OF SELECTION -Representatives from Dragons Reconciliation Action Plan committee, playing squad and staff, will review ALL submissions and select the winning design based on relevance to the design brief.
