    Develo pm en t since 2004 ..} Violen t ac tivities in th e region declined in 2004 . There are two m ain

    reasons for th is:

    } war m ing of rela tions be tween New Del h i and Isla m abad w h ic hconseq uen tly lead to a ceasefire be tween th e two co un tries in 2003

    } and th e fencing of th e LOC being carried o ut by th e Indian Ar m y.

    } Moreover, co m ing under intense interna tional p ress u re, Isla m abad was co mp elled to take ac tions agains t th e m ilitan ts' training ca mp s

    on its terri tory. } In 2004 , th e two co un tries also agreed up on decreasing th e

    num ber of troo p s p resen t in th e region.

    inten tions w ha tsoever of doing th e above said ex tradi tion.
