What really a Village mean?
A village is a group of houses or a
community, larger than hamlet but smaller
than a town. Most of the land surrounding
is used for farming.
A village is also said to be a pollution
free, peaceful area located far from city
environment.

India is a land of Villages. There are more than
6,40,000 villages in India.
According to 2011 census, more than 68.44%
people live in villages. They depend mostly on
Agriculture, Small Scale Industries.

Our basic need is Food and it comes from
Villages.
90% of the People who Built tall
Buildings in Cities are from Villages.
In India, 52% of the Employment depend
on Agriculture.
For export of Rice, Wheat, Sugar, Onion
etc we depend mostly on Villages.

Indian Villages are promoting Small Scale
Industries like
Handloom Industry
Dairy farm
Poultry farm
Match box Industry
Good Environment
Pollution less surroundings.
Greenery.
They don’t spoil fertility of land, but they
preserve it.
Limited wants
Life style of the villagers is so simple. So
their needs are limited.
Less consumption of :

◦ Electricity
◦ Transport

Not having proper facilities
Agriculture may not yield sufficient

Move towards city

Conclusion
Villages are the biggest support to
India. They are the one with which the
whole world recognizes India. They are
the ones that doesn't depend on any cities,
but every city depend on villages for their
survival. Inspite of all negative factors
positivity leads the way. So I want to
conclude that Villages are the biggest
strength to India.
