` graduated from the Lady Irwin College, New Delhi in the year 1964,

` she went to Briarcliff College, New York, United States of America in 1966 for higher

` In the late 60s Ritu Kumar began her venture with a couple of hand block printers

and two tablets in a small village near Kolkata,` Kolkata in the late 60s was incidentally the first woman to introduce the boutique

Manish. Manish has designed dull gold, champagne- coloured Chantilly lacedress with silver metallic lining. Tassels were later added to the dress by Manish

to add grace to the dance steps.
