    T PmmTe Young Visionaries Fellowship Programme seeks to identiy promising young entrepreneursin India and Arica and oer them opportunities or growth and collaboration across the twogeographies. Entries are invited rom young entrepreneurs in India and Arica, who havedemonstrated success in terms o achieving signifcant pft and/or substantial cl mpctthrough a venture in any o the ollowing industry sectors: Creative Industry Cultural Industry Education

    Energy Environment Food & Agriculture Healthcare

    Somebody working in one of the above listed industry sectors, who is able to demonstratesuccess in terms o b wth (proft/market share/employees), and/or cl mpct(addressing a social problem/need), or in terms o ptt (quality and aesthetic) amongstpeers

    Somebody who has dvlpd a successul (in terms o impact and reach) social or not-orproft enterprise

    Somebody who has shown ldhp in the industry by championing its development inIndia and/or Arica

    Somebody who has dvlpd ttv (exhibitions, trade airs, estivals etc.) to osterbusiness ties between India and Arica in his/her chosen sector

    One Indian and one African winner will be declared from each of the seven industry sectors.In all, 14 candidates will be selected as Young Visionaries

    Each sector will be allotted a grant of USD 10,000 7 African winners (one from each sector) will get the opportunity to travel to India for 5 days

    and attend a relevant academic and business meetings. Te tour will comprise o meetingsand seminars tailored to suit winners interests

    Eligibility Criteria

    Candidates must be under the age of 40 years as on 31st December, 2012

    Candidates should already be working in one of the above listed industry sectors withat least 2 years proessional experience Candidates should possess exceptional entrepreneurial skills and must demonstrate their

    ability to adopt innovative approaches towards the development o their sector Candidates must demonstrate their potential as future leaders of Africa-India collaborative

    business through their character, drive and abilities

    INDIAFRICA: A Shared Future will appoint a Jury of domain experts to sift through all entriesand short list candidates from India and Africa across the 7 sectors

    Shortlisted candidates will be asked to submit more information and provide 3 references.

    Te Young Visionaries Fellowship Programme aims to identiy entrepreneurs who displaythe potential o playing an instrumental role in the Indian and/or Arican market, in termso achieving either signifcant proft or substantial social impact.owards this end, candidates will be judged on the ollowing basic criteria:

    Entrepreneurial ability e candidates ability to run or manage a business that fulls a market need e candidates ability to demonstrate business acumen, commercial awareness and

    managerial ability towards the ormulation o a clear business strategy

    Market Awareness e candidates in depth understanding of his/her industry
