Dear Enthusiastic Participant(s): Continuing the successful IndiaFest in Milwaukee from 2013, we are excited to present you “IndiaFest Milwaukee 2015” this year on 15th August. We would like to thank you all for being part of the historic event. IndiaFest Milwaukee is scheduled to be celebrated on 15th August from 11.00am CST to 9.00pm CST at Humboldt Park, 3000 S. Howell Ave, Milwaukee, 53207. We have planned power packed entertainment showcasing local talent and presenting diverse Indian culture. We look forward to your participation in showcasing your arts and crafts, talent in singing, acting or dancing. Some of the attractions this year would be “Wisconsin India Singing Idol”, “Mr. & Miss/Mrs. Wisconsin India Fashion Show” and our flagship kid’s parade, Indian Classical/Bollywood dance and music show, dhol fusion etc. We look forward to have major involvement from Indian Regional Associations to showcase their culture and heritage. Please review the program kit and register yourself or for your team which you would like to participate. To make your registration easy we have provided online registration option this time.

Kids or adults can showcase their art in IndiaFest.

Participants are required to make and bring their art - painting, drawing. sketches

or crafts like pottery, flower decoration etc., at IndiaFest 2015 Art/Craft display

Center.

There will be separate sections for kids and adults display. Only one art/craft

per person is allowed

Entry form for “Wisconsin Indian” Talent Show:

Talented kids, adults will be given opportunity to present their talent in “Wisconsin Indian

Talent show”.

This can be either individual or group performance – Dance/song/acting/mimicry etc.

5. You could use same form for multiple entries for you or your team

6. Entertainment programs in any Indian language will be preferred

7. No songs or dance should be performed without supporting music or karaoke

8. IndiaFest organizers will notify selected participants by 10th July 2015

9. Decision of IndiaFest Cultural Committee is final

Wisconsin has great training centers (Gurukul) who are teaching Indian arts (music/dance)

in our Midwest area

IndiaFest Milwaukee 2015 is giving opportunity to training centers (Gurukul) in and around

Wisconsin to showcase their talent at IndiaFest Milwaukee 2015 initiative

The presentation can be group song/dance/instrumental/recitation (preferred group

participation)

Team can present minimum of one program per Gurukul

Entry form for Wisconsin Indian Singing Idol:

For the first time IndiaFest will be conducting “Wisconsin Indian Singing Idol” competition

to showcase your singing talent

Following are the categories:

o 5 to 8 years,

o 9 to 12 years ,

o 12 to 18 years,

o 19 years and above

Two winners will be selected from each age group

The participants will be evaluated by selected judges panel

Decision of the judges will be final

IndiaFest Milwaukee team will have no influence on the decision of the winners

1. Kids Parade: If your child is participating in parade, please make sure to draw Indian

flag in both side of the page (8X5 A4 Size hard paper) and stick it in a dowel

2. Rangoli: You can bring your choice of colors. These are free form of art with no theme.

Be your best. We are going to provide a base size 3x3

3. Dandiya: Bring your sticks and join us
