    Ajanta is a very interesting cave with a lot of different

    information in it. Before you go, look below for more

    information . The Ajanta caves were built in

    the 2nd century B.C to the 5th century A.D, over 100 yrs.!

    The Ajanta caves are made of Basalt.

    The caves was used by the monks as a refuge in monsoon

    season because the caves would fill up and make the land

    a lush green vegetation.

    Ancient India is very interesting and its famous

    Ajanta caves are a must see. Look at this guide for what to

    In the different caves of Ajanta are some really

    interesting, eye catching art that was made in the 5th

    century. In:

    Cave one: Padmapani and King Manajanka renounces

    the world. Cave two: Hariti and

    Panchika also Lentel. Cave seven: Mitacle of

    Shivasti. Cave nine: Entrance Cave nineteen: Entrance 2,

    the interior, and some brackets and roof panels.

    Cave Twenty-four is a unfinished cave.

    Cave twenty-six: Interior 2, a seated and a standing Buddha, roof panels, and a

    Parinirvana.
