1. Using the Rectangle Tool, draw some shapes that fit within the grid.

1. Using the Text Tool, draw a textbox that is 8 grid columns wide.
3. Set what Font you would like to use.

1. Direct Select one of your styled textboxes.
2. In the Character Styles panel, Create New Style.

1. Draw two more textboxes side by side, this time tall and narrow.
3. Using the Direct Selection Tool, click on the red checkbox and then click on the empty textbox to flow the text.

1. Using the Rectangle Frame Tool, draw a rectangle that is 8 columns wide.
3. Select the file you want to Place in the Frame.

1. Use the Direct Selection Tool to select the image inside the frame.
3. You can also set the image using Fill Frame Proportionally and Center Content.

InDesignAligning Objects
1. On the Pages panel, right click and create a New Master...

2. Draw a new textbox in the bottom left-hand corner of the spread.
3. Type > Insert Special Character > Markers > Current Page Number.
4. To apply the Master, drag the icon onto a spread in the panel.
