INCOMING STUDENT, We are excited to welcome you to the Oxford family! Oxford is a vibrant and tight-knit community where from the moment you arrive, you have hundreds of opportunities to explore, learn, and get involved while being supported by some of the most amazing faculty and staff. We can't wait to welcome you to our campus community in January! Did You Know? The organic farm is a feature unique to the Oxford campus. Students can be a part of this farm-to- table experience through the work study program, classes, and volunteering. A great way to learn about the farm and our local food system is to choose classes that participate at the farm. Discovery Seminars and a range of classes in other disciplines regularly take advantage of the farm, including Anthropology (Dr. Ham), Sociology (Dr. Shannon), and Environmental Science (Dr. Hage and Dr. Martin). One theme that holds true on the farm is that the more you give, the more you get. Helping out on the farm means more of our harvest ends up in our dining hall, on the plates of local shoppers, and in local pantries for those in need. Check out our Facebook page and Instagram to see what's happening on the farm! VIEW PREVIOUS MESSAGES What's Next?
