ASSESSMENT REPORT
MAGNETOMETER SURVEY
WISNER TOWNSHIP, SUDBURY MINING DIVISION
SUDBURY DISTRICT
NTS: 4-1-10/n
Introduction
The geophysical survey was carried out with proton magnetometers in an area to the north of Sudbury. The survey was performed during the fall of 1984 and winter of 1985. The objective was to explore the area for base metal deposits. The magnetometer survey will detect variations of the magnetite content in the rocks and concentrations of magnetic sulphides such as pyrrhotite. The survey will aid in the interpretation of the geology that can not be mapped because it is covered by overburden.
Property
The 26 claims covered by this report were recorded on February 22, 1982 and are owned by Inco Ltd. of Copper Cliff, Ontario. The claims are divided into two groups, one consisting of 7 claims designated as the west grid and one of 19 claims designated as the east grid (see location map).
Location and Access
The claims are located in Wisner Township about 30 km north of the City of Sudbury and 15 km west of Lake Wahnapitei. There is no direct access to the property by road. During the winter it is possible to drive by snow machine or all-terrain vehicle onto the property along power lines and old bush roads. The topography is rugged with steep hill sides. The vegetation is typical of the various conditions in the shield areas.
Geology
The area consists largely of Archean granitoid rocks, often containing amphioolitic xenoliths which may be the remnants of an older greenstone belt. Lesser amounts of dioritic-gabbroic intrusive rocks are present, generally in the southern portion of the area. A weak to moderate gneissosity is present and occurs in both units, resulting in areas of complex granite gneisses and mafic gneisses. Sudbury-type breccia is not uncommon in the area, and brecciates all the above units. Late olivine diabase dykes make up the last geological event . (Reference: Muir, T. L., 1981 Geology of the Capreol Area, District of Sudbury, O.G.S. Open .ile Report 5344).
Grid: Several base lines were surveyed, from which a grid was cut with lines ZOO feet apart and with picket? to mark stations at 50 ft intervals.
- 2 -
Instrument: Two proton magnetometers model G-816 were used. These Instruments were built by Exploranium - Geometrics of Sunnyvale, USA. Proton magnetometers measure the total intensity of the earth's magnetic field directly in gammas. They leave an accuracy of +1 gemma over a range from 80,000 to 90,000 gammas. The gradient tolerance is given to be better than 150 gammas per foot. The sensor was carried in the back pack mode.
Survey Proc dure: Magnetic base lines were established along existing surveyed base lines and control lines. These base stations were established on the intersection with the cross lines by repeated readings of these stations to remove possible diurnals. Readings taken along the grid lines were tied into these base station and diurnal corrections were applied to the field readings where required.
Along the lines magnetic readings were taken at 25 foot intervals. The readings were plotted on maps and the values were contoured with a contour interval of 200 gammas.
Results
The magnetic contour maps show mainly a large number of small elongated anomalies. This is a reflection of the very shallow overburden and the limited size of the magnetic bodies. The amplitude of the anomalies is mostly in the range of 1000 to 2000 gammas.
a) The picture of the west grid is reflecting a north-south trend of the geological strike. The areas of low magnetic intensity (57000 to 58000 gammas) outline areas that are underlain by the granite rock. The more spotty magnetic anomalies reflect the presence of amphibolitic xenolith or blocks of dioritic- gabbroic intrusives in the granite.
b) The eastern claim group exhibits a similar pattern of small magnetic anomalies scattered throughout the area. The anomalies predominantly have an east-west or a east-northeast irend. The anomalies may be caused by disjointed diabase dykes or blocks of gabbroic material in the granitic complex similar to those of the west grid.
Granitic rocks containing little or none of the magnetic units described above show up as areas with low magnetic relief and background readings around 58,000 gammas.

Attn: G.J. Gereghty
Dear Sir:
Re: Mining Claims S 734726 et al in Wisner Township
I have not received the reports and maps (in duplicate) for the Magnetometer survey on the above-mentioned claims.
As the assessment "Report of Work" was recorded by the Mining Recorder on February 26, 1985, the 60 day period allowed by Section 77 of The Mining Act for the submission of the technical reports and maps to this office will expire on April 29, 1985.If the material is not submitted to this office by April 29, 1985, I will have no alternative but to instruct the Mining Recorder to delete the work credits from the claim record sheets. For further information, please contact Mr. Arthur Barr at (416)965-4888.,
