• Conceptualized and created icons for Windows and Mac OSX—as well as other application-centric graphic components—across desktop, web, and mobile software platforms. Mainly used Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Axialis IconWorkshop to output ICO, ICNS, CUR, AVI, PNG, JPG, GIF, BMP, and TIFF fi les.

• Produced infographics, diagrams, non-application icons and other imagery in a variety of styles for motion graphics, web sites, presentations, advertising, and printed collateral.

1. CURRENT PROCESS WITHOUT ECM | 100% PaperGovernment regulations exascerbate issues related to paper-heavy processes, like account creation and loan processing.Tracking paperwork, ensuring information is correct, up-to-date, and accessible when needed are challenges the banking industry currently faces, especially in light of recent scandals. The limitations of physical paper include slowed processing, vulnerability to human error, and increased costs, especially in the case of mandated yearly audits. When documents end up in fi ling cabinets, the fi rst break in what could be a seamless process occurs.

2. FULLY DEPLOYED ECM SYSTEM | Paper freeIn place of fi ling cabinets, a repository provides a centralized collection and distribution center accessible through multiple platforms. Digitized documentation minimizes errors and increases effi ciency: incorporating error checks to minimize time spent resubmitting paperwork, as well as removing the need to physically locate and mail paperwork, can reclaim time and money lost otherwise.

3. CURRENT PROCESS WITHOUT ECM | 100% PaperThe bulk of time and money is spent on overnighting or faxing paperwork to and from offi ces. As error checking is dependent on humans, things may still slip through despite multiple layers of checks. Stress is increased due to the limited time allotted to completing transactions.

4. ECM IN THE BACK/HOME OFFICE | 50% PaperThe Back (home) offi ce in this scenario has digitized their process, but the bulk of expended effort (and majority of time spent on handling paperwork) remains with broker dealers. Transactions are now handled through the management system and accessible outside the offi ce to those connected. Some benefi ts may trickle down to broker dealers, but paper still consumes enough time and money to negatively impact effi ciency and ROI.

5. FULLY DEPLOYED ECM SYSTEM | Paper freeUse of paper is minimal, and sharing the same backend system allows for seamless and quick transmission of information. Built-in error catching prevents documentation from being prematurely sent unless complete. System notifi cations of transaction status become an option, and freed resources allows attention to be redirected to other tasks.

By accurately illustrating the pain points of the banking industry and broker dealers without resorting to bullet points, complex processes are condensed into easily-digestible visuals that also present the solutions available when using an ECM system.
