Including Bethanga, Dederang, Mt Beauty and Tangambalanga Communities
We pray for young mothers,
who give life and count toes
and tend to our every need;
May they be blessed with patience and
tenderness to care for their families and
themselves with great joy.
We pray for our own mothers who have
nurtured and cared for us;
May they continue to guide us in strong and
gentle ways.
We remember mothers who are
separated from their children because of
war, poverty, or conflict;
May they feel the loving embrace of our God
We pray for women who are not mothers but
still love and shape us with motherly care and
compassion.
We remember mothers, grandmothers, and
great-grandmothers who are no longer with
us but who live forever in our memory and
nourish us with their love.
Amen
A Mothers Day Prayer

Gospel Acclamation: Alleluia, alleluia! . I am the good shepherd, says the Lord;
I know my sheep, and mine know me. Alleluia!
Prayer of the Faithful: Lord, hear our prayer!
Jesus said:
'The sheep that belong to me listen to my voice;
I know them and they follow me.
I give them eternal life;
they will never be lost
and no one will ever steal them from me.
The Father who gave them to me is greater than anyone,
and no one can steal from the Father.
The Father and I are one.'

CHILDREN’S L ITURGY - Leaders and helpers needed
This ministry is thriving. The number of
children participating is continually
increasing. The dedicated core team
needs assistance:
Leaders – Excellent resource
available Kid’s Sunday Liturgy and
mentors ready to assist.
Helpers - Child Safety Policy At least two adults (Leader
plus one other) are required in each of the Children’s
Liturgy rooms while a session is in progress. Volunteers
are required to simply sit in room with leader.
Pope Francis has invited us to pray for the Church for strength and the coming of the Holy Spirit,
the Spirit of unity, peace and courage.
You are invited to a prayer journey of reflection and adoration, as we prepare our hearts for
a New Pentecost
