Prime Venues & Amazing Acoustics

Two likely venues for the LCHS singers are St. Mark’s Basilica in Venice and St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City. They will be the featured guest choir for High Mass at the stunning altars, and in addition, the Choral Artists will present a series of formal concerts in beautiful churches, possibly even in a theatre and/or castle. Once the touring choir is established and the repertoire set, the venues can be confirmed.

iNCANTATO is first and foremost a performance tour company. The itinerary is designed around the musical opportunities, which are carefully se-lected and matched to each touring ensemble. In addition to concerts, the singers will have the opportunity to present recitals and participate in other cultural activities such as school visits and exchanges with local singers.

On the following pages of this introductory brochure, we share a first itinerary which provides an overview of where the LCHS tour is scheduled to be at the present stage of planning.

Papal Audience &Rome sightseeing

The LCHS Choral Artists will salute Pope Francis at the weekly Papal Audience at St.Peter‘s Square in the morning. After some free time for souvenir shopping, tours of the Coliseum and Roman Forum are scheduled prior to the next highlight concert in a beautiful Roman church.

DAY 8Thursday, March 30

Mass at St. Peter‘sPrivate Vatican Visit

Morning tour of “Baroque Rome” – Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain,Piazza Navona. It is then fol-lowed by the LCHS Choral Artists being the featured guest choir for Mass at St. Peter’s and the exclusive after-hours private Vatican Museum visit with a likely recitalin the Sistine Chapel.Farewell dinner.

DAY 9Friday, March 31

Return flights to LAX

Morning departures from Rome with same day arrival in Los Angeles.
