About Suraj Sankara Nethralaya:

Well known philanthropist, champion of social causes, Chairman of Acharya Shri Hasthi Aradhana Foundation

(ASHA Foundation) and a long time well-wisher of Sankara Nethralaya Shri. Surajmal Jain in a rare gesture of

generosity and concern towards providing quality eye care to the paying and non paying patients in the region

donated a functioning hospital measuring 8000 Sq Ft situated at a vantage location at Chetpet, Tiruvannamalai

District. The Premise, suitably renovated and altered to meet the needs of a full-fledged ophthalmic hospital and

named as Suraj Sankara Nethralaya, will offer comprehensive eye care services at par with the Chennai centres to

meet the ophthalmic needs of poor patients and paying patients in and around this town and neighbouring

villages. The centre will also conduct comprehensive eye examination camps in the region.
