FAMOUS CHEF REVIVES BOCA EATERY
Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey came to Palm
Beach County to film an episode of Kitchen
Nightmares, the FOX reality series in its second
season. Ramsey and the production team from
Upper Ground Enterprises out of California
came to Anna Vincenzo’s Ristorante Italiano
in Boca Raton, in an effort to revitalize the res-
taurant and turn it into a huge success. The crew
shot at many other locations in Boca Raton including Gumbo
Limbo Nature Center, Red Reef Golf
Course and various beaches.
“Our show travels from city to city and our con-
stant production movement can sometimes be
difficult and challenging, but working in the County
was an enjoyable experience,” said Jackie
Palombo, Production Manager. The crew
also shot two other episodes in South Florida.

Hauptner saying, “Thanks for everything you did to
make my stay so memorable and comfortable.”
Filmmaker Frank Eberling is currently filming the environmental comedy,
Turkles. Filming has been taking place at locations including the Juno Beach Park
& Pier and the lush, tropical estate Tora Leigh. The cast and crew are made up of
mostly local talent including actors from the Burt Reynolds Institute for Film &
Theatre. Director/Producer Mike Kirton who directed the feature film The Last Marshall, which
shot in PBC, just wrapped another action-packed thriller, Criss Cross. A boat race

GOLF COMMERCIAL SWINGS INTO PBC
It‟s the timeless question: If you
could choose any three people to
play a round of golf with, who would
they be? For Camilo Villegas aka
Spiderman, the answer was his
brother, his dad and his idol, Gary
Player. The foursome played a
round of golf for a new „priceless‟ MasterCard commercial. The
production team from PGA Tour Productions out of Jackson-
ville, FL set up shop for two days at the Old Palm Golf Club
located in Palm Beach Gardens to film the spot.
The commercial has already been featured during one of golf‟s
most important tournaments the Senior British Open Champion-
ship which was broadcast on ABC and ESPN. Cast and crew
were accommodated at the PGA National
Resort & Spa in Palm Beach
Gardens. To view the commer-
cial please visit priceless.com.

NEW STUDIO AIMS TO ATTRACT
LOW BUDGET PROJECTS
After making nearly twenty low budget movies in
Florida, local filmmaker Gary Davis has opened a
studio dedicated to the no/low budget independent
film market. The Studio is located in Royal Palm
Beach and contains ready-made sets, lights, props
and wardrobes that can be utilized for productions
such as low budget TV commercials, music videos,
local TV shows and movies. “The studio has every-
thing a local moviemaker needs at a price they can
afford,” said Davis.
Last month, the studio hosted two of its first networking events for
actors, models, musicians/artist, dancers, singers, photographers,
filmmakers and the media. There are also open casting calls planned
for several projects including a major TV show, a movie written by
Richard Williams and Gambling on Grace, a movie Davis is making
with collaborator Matthew Pabon. The two of them have already
produced two movies together A Sinner’s Prayer and Fighting for Faith.

NEW AGENCY SPRINGS UP IN PBC
Representing photographers, stylists and makeup artists in Miami,
Broward and Palm Beach counties, Contributing Artists is a
new artist management representation agency located in West
Palm Beach. “Identifying and sourcing South Florida hair and
makeup artists can be challenging, especially in today‟s economy
when production budgets are tight and there‟s no room for a „take
two‟ or minor mistakes,” said Lisa Bruder, Contributing Art-
ists Founder, who is also a professional graphic designer and
owner of Blue Box Design Studio. “The demand for local and reli-
able South Florida production companies is high. Contributing Art-
ists connects the right artist with the project.”
Contributing Artists' work have appeared in
publications such as Palm Beach Illustrated,
Elle and Lucky. Their photographers and styl-
ists have worked on campaigns for compa-
nies such as Macy's and Bloomingdales. For

Palm Beach County (PBC) offers production companies a world-class destination with year-round warm weather, diverse locations and
free production space. In addition, there are many talented crews who live and work in the area. Many South Florida crew people have
