5. Choice. With Valley Oil, you can choose from two different Heating Comfort Plans, the Standard Comfort Plan or the Ultimate Comfort Plan. Plus, we offer additional coverage through our Air Conditioning Comfort Plan and Oil-Fired Water Heater Plan. Pricing varies, so you can choose the plan that best fits your budget and needs, but rest assured that all of our Comfort Plans reduce operating costs, prolong system life and prevent untimely equipment breakdowns.

4. Coverage. The Standard Comfort Plan covers parts and labor costs for the repair or replacement of nearly 50 important components of your home heating system. It also covers the cost of your annual tune-up. The Ultimate Comfort Plan, on the other hand, covers all of that plus over 20 more parts and services.

3. Comfort. There’s a reason we call these contracts Home Comfort Plans and not Service Plans, like so many other companies do. As temperatures begin to dip, the question on everyone’s mind is will this winter be more like the winter of 2014-2015, which brought Arctic chills and blizzards that blanketed our region in many feet of snow, or the winter of 2015-2016, which was barely a winter at all? At this stage, we can’t know for sure, but here’s what some people are saying:

• The 2017 edition of the Old Farmer’s Almanac predicts “colder than normal” temperatures for the Northeast region with “above normal” precipitation.

• The similarly named Farmers’ Almanac concurs, with its 2017 Winter Outlook predicting “Ice Cold & Snow Filled” conditions for New Jersey.

• On the other hand, the NOAA Climate Prediction Center says that there’s about a 40% chance we’ll experience above average temperatures through December.
