Character parts in the Mere-dith Willso* production were sparked by performers such ag Mary-Alice Wunderlc. who played the mother of Marian. Convincingly Irish, with a bro-gue that never ventured to the extreme, she was purely per-sonable. Others, who included j Roy Johnson, the town mayor.! Lucy Green, his wife, and Wai-1 ter Koremin, a competitive salesman, threw zest . . . per-haps a shade more than v M really needed . . . into their roles. But, they too, were like-able.
And once again the Meadow-brook chorus shone in singing, under the direction of Donald Yap, and dancing, choreo-graphed by Duncan Noble. Top honors here go to Linda Rao Hager in the role of Amaryl-lis, a delightful youjrag girl, and
