    Alone

The walls closing in.The lights have escapedthrough the window. The demon faces of hellfall upon me.The feeling of being

stuffed to the corner.Screaming and Screaming,But no one hears me.

    Blue Roses

Blue Roses upona Blue day.No where to turn,No where to stay.

    He walks

    through my door,andI say: "ok!".

    I can't imaginememories to seem

    like a puffy cloud,causing a blurry view.I imagine each Blue Rose,with a personwhich is small,as a pea.

I see that person, and see no clothes.

I see my brother and my mother,But where's my father? The Blue Roses, ofthe Blue day, risestowards the moonto touch the Arctic cold, and emotionlessfeelings of blue.

The moon screams: "BONJOUR!"My response, with an ice cold voice: "Blue Roses!"

life's understandings of why, finally hit me, like a lightning bolt,

that flashed and blasted from the Blue sky,and through the Blue Roses,in which I shall always be.

It's All Coming Back to MeSong Sung by: Celine Deion

    Lyrics rewritten by: Francesca Lentini

There were nights when the wind was so cold, that my body froze in bed, and all I had to do

was listen right out side the window. There were days when the sun was cruel. All my tears turned to dust and I just knew my

    eyes were drying up forever.

I couldn't stop crying from the instant that youleft.

I can't remember when, where, or how.

I couldn't stop looking over the river that you'veleft.

But when I see you across the river.Or when you see me like that.We see what we want to see,

And its all coming back to me.

I have nights when my eyes can't close,

My body can't take it that you've left me allbehind on river.

Please say that your spirit will stay,So I can feel safe because you're right here

    beside me.

Our Memories that we have shared, shall remainalive,

and with the spirit that you have left within myheart.

I'll see you across the river. And everything is all coming back to me now. It's all coming back to me now . . . . . .

    Eveningin the

    Lives of Children

The chair rocks back and forth. The window opens and closes.Children laughing, children fighting.

One shout breaks outfrom a parent. And all chaos isin a halt.

Love and togetherness isWhat brings the family together.

The children look up andfollow their parents footsteps.

    Moonlight Love

What is love? What is knowing? What is seeing?

    If seeing meansbelieving,

then believing meansyou trust within yourself.

How can you trustsomeone,if you can't trust yourself?

    What if???????

    My "Ode to Mankind"

Mankind,Is it something good or something bad?

Is a creator, or a destruction?

Can it be something to believe in, or something

    to dislike?

Is it like religion?Within religion we never abandon it,

    until we question it ways,

    but do we abandon mankind,

    until we question that.

    Can Mankind be a friend?

Someone or something that is always there,

and will never leave your side.

Hatred, Love, why can't mankind pick a side,

    and live with that believing.

    In live, of mankind,

there are the leaders and followers.

    Which one are you?

Can you lead an army to you and your brother's

death?Or do you just follow the one that leads you

    from the start?

Questions and Questions, but where are the

    answers?

    Who will know?

    A Journey of My Life

    I walked and walked

    through the brightwhite hospital halls. . . . . . . .

Looking and lookingfor room 510. . .Which door shall opento see where my father lays?

So many questions enterin and out of my head.So many lives pass throughmy mind. Some who are alive

and some of who are dead.Hoping so much that my fatherwouldn't be added to the list of the dead. The questions the questions,But where are the answers?

Then a bright light, shines from a door,

right before my eyes and thenI knew that my father is all right. . . .

    Old San Juan

The sun was so hot,I felt like my body was on fire.

The green leaves from the Palm treeswas brushing against the light tan pink sand. The dark brown charcoal trunk was pressed hard

down on the groundas though it was cemented to the sand. The bright lime green from the leavesshined its shadow upon the sand.

The lime green leaves felt like rubber on my hand.

The sand smells like sweet ripe coconuts.I gradually roll a coconut in my handsto feel something that is queer and unfamiliar to me.The hairs of the coconut brushthrough my fingers,it feels rough, but yet it is gentle,

    for the coconut is fragile.

This is the place of Old San Juan. The sun is brighter andthe people are friendlier. The fruits are juicier and sweeter. The music is louder, but yet everybody doesn't care.

The sun in Old San Juanfelt like cold ice cubesupon my back.A Puerto Rican man comesup to me and says:Come in the ocean where it is hot on your back.

The bright blue raysstream through the skywith little white puffy cotton balls as clouds.

Fran, why can't you go in the water? Is there something blocking you?

The sun will burstinto little pieces of fire balls andland in the ocean.

    Me gusta la playa.

One of the coconuts from the palm treedropped down and ran into the ocean,Like Speedy Gonzalez.

This place is peaceful. So, Why can't there be any peacein the Middle East?

Hola Mamma! I saidwith a soft and gentle voice.Go have fun in the ocean,My momma responded with

a free and non worried voice.

The sun rays shined so hard upon me,that I decided to run as fast as I could intoTHE OCEAN.

"A God, A NewWay of Life is theNew Path you'llexceed."

    I scream to escape.

And finding out thatit was all just
