description

These are eleven out of the 45 paintings whose titles were generated by J.Meades' MUSEUM WITHOUT WALLS 2012. The titles do not describe the subject of the painting but just the context. The titles create connotations and imaginative possibilities. Most of the works are acrylic stencilled onto canvas. One or two semicircular stencils were used to create mirror images with variations and these often do not connect very well which adds to the tension on the surface.
