My friend, my friendOh what have you done? You’ve gone and left us
All and one
To think of a worldWithout your laugh
Your smile, your frownYour jaded half
You always shone
So very brightThat day will
seemSo close to
night
You taught me muchYou held my handWhen times were
roughYou helped me stand
I wish I could have been
That hand for youTo lift you up And get you
through
So I will mourn
And I will weep
As you are now
God’s to keep
May He hold youWithin His armsAnd keep you
safeFrom every
harm
Look down upon usYour family and friendsKnow that we love you
Forever, no end
Know that I’ll miss youAnd although I cry
I know you’re in God’s handsSo I won’t say goodbye
Dance among the starsMy friend
Until God lets us Meet again
In Loving Memory of Sherry
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered “come to me.” With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you
pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped
beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the
best.
