If I should go tomorrow
If I should go tomorrow
It would never be goodbye,
For I have left my heart with you,
So don’t you ever cry.
The love that’s deep within me,
Shall reach you from the stars,
You’ll feel it from the heavens,
And it will heal the scars.
Our Hero
Dylan “Faithfull”
Cast your cares on
the Lord and
He will sustain you;
He will never let the
righteous fall.
Psalm 55:22
Our hero, Dylan James Jahner, was born March 17, 2003 in Het-
tinger ND, to Rich and Jennifer (Molbert) Jahner. He was known by
many nicknames, including Dillard, Bubba and Dillweed. He attended
Hettinger Public School and had just completed the third grade and was
looking forward to “moving upstairs” to the fourth grade.
Dylan loved sports, was a talented wrestler and earned the title of
State Champion in 2012. He begged his dad to coach football when he
was old enough to play, and rarely missed a Chicago Bears game.
Dylan loved being outside, riding bike with his brother Braden, play-
ing in the yard, fishing or hunting with his family, or spending time at the
lake. He loved teasing his Dad and anyone else he fished with about
always catching the most fish.
Dylan was never in a hurry, always taking his time to make sure eve-
rything he did was just right. He loved spending time with his family,
and always looked for hugs. He liked to make his family and friends
smile with his silly antics like the Mr. Bean dance and his Allelluiah song.
Dylan loved to help others. If there was a home improvement pro-
ject to be done, Dylan was eager to learn, and eager to make sure Dad
knew if Mom was using his tools. His love of helping will live on for
years to come in the gift of life he gave to so many others through or-
gan donation.
Dylan’s smile, the glimmer in his sky blue eyes, and his willingness to
be the first to say “I love you” when tucked in at night will be just a few
of the things his family will miss.
Dylan, 10 year old Friend, Brother and Hero Son, answered God's
call to save others after a tragic accident in Hettinger, ND on June 12,
2013. Dylan's gifts of life through organ donation forever enable his
spirit to live on and help the lives of many others. He will be tremen-
dously missed by all who knew and loved him.
Holding him most near and dear to their hearts are his Mom and
Dad, Jennifer and Rich Jahner, his Sister, Kaitlin Jahner and Brother
Braden Jahner, all of Hettinger, his Grandparents, John and Kathy Jah-
ner, Deb and Jerry Ostlie, all of Hettinger, his Great Grandparents, Su-
sanne Reis, Belfield, ND, Ilene Kowis and John and Lila Molbert, Het-
tinger, his Aunts and Uncles, Jessica and Derek Enderud, Dickinson, ND,
Lea and Jim Kugel, Hettinger, Scott and Shannon Stremick, Omaha, NE,
Jay and Carrie Jahner, Dickinson and Mike and Kris Jahner, Forman, ND
and 14 Cousins, Ryland Enderud, Drew, Myranda and Cory Kugel,
Blaine, Derek, Cody, Christian and Noah Stremick, Thomas, Justin, Josh
and Drake Jahner and Trey Jahner; and many other family members, his
Classmates and numerous friends.
Dylan was preceded in death by his Grandpa, Rodney Molbert and
his Great Grandparents, Bob Kowis, Nick Reis and Roy and Bernice
Jahner.

Mommy please don't cry for me
Tell Daddy to not be sad
Tell my brother and sister
To remember all the fun we had
Tell Grandma I'll miss her cookies
and Grandpa’s stories too
Tell everyone I miss them
And I'll be watching over you
Don't shed a tear for me because
I'm not with you on earth tonight
But I'm watching over from the clouds
With the stars as my flashlight
I know you'll miss me terribly
But we'll be together again you'll see
For now I'll wait for you in Heaven
While the angels take care of me
