Dr Joubert has worked with several leading French orthopedic surgeons including Dr Frederick Laude, Dr Pascal Vie and Dr Pascal Moreau training in the minimal invasive hip replacement technique. Since specializing in the AMIS technique Dr Joubert has successfully performed more than 1500 minimal invasive hip replacement procedures and has been appointed as a reference surgeon for the AMIS technique in South Africa, operating from Mediclinic Panorama and Stellenbosch Mediclinic.

Dr Leith Stewart has been full time in Private Practice in Claremont Clinic for 17 years now. He has lectured in the U.K., Europe and India on Knee and Hip surgery. His main interest is in Hip Resurfacing Surgery and bearing surfaces. He obtained a BSC at Natal University in Chemistry and Applied Maths. He studied and obtained his M.B. ChB. At Stellenbosch University and then Orthopaedics at UCT, graduating in 1993. He then studied at Exeter in the UK for 1 year under Dr Graham Gie, doing hip and knee surgery and then did a further stint as a Consultant in Exeter. He then returned to UCT as a part time Consultant in the Knee Clinic at Groote Schuur Hospital.
