I am interested in the workshop mainly because of the open-sourcephilosophy of the Arduino hardware and Processing software. They seemto empower 'normal' people (if there is such a thing) to get on withdeveloping and prototyping ideas rapidly. The varied home-grownprojects I have seen online, are all stimulating get-on and have a goprojects. And although I know this is hardly new technology (Basicstamps have been around for years), I really like the accessibility ofthe Arduino philosophy.
A philosophy

I am a total beginner
I make a living out of using Arduino in my work
I make and sell my own boards
I use Arduino as part of my final project
Scale of the audienceDifferent levels with different expectationsBeginners look to the more advanced users for inspiration

Sharing and protectingHow to we get creative people to talk about their tools? Is there a CC-like model for this?

DocumentingIt takes time and it’s not only code Is there an Instructables-like standard for this?

Manufacturing is easyWell, easier. Creating a community around your product isn’t.
