SomePitching

A 2-week competition consisting of 3 stages:

• Stage 0 (pre) – pre-registration to the competition with basic team details

• Stage I (1st week) – evaluation of the ideas by general public to select the finalists

• Stage II (2nd week) – the pro jury and general public together determine the winners

Stage I• Participants make a max. 60 sec video showcasing their

product/service idea

• SomePitching engages the public to evaluate the ideas using Innopinion’s technology

• Participants are welcomed and rewarded to promote themselves through social media

• The top ideas will go through to the 2nd Stage

Stage II• Finalists send a more detailed 5-slide presentation

describing the idea and the team

• SomePitching provides the presentation template

• The slideset is confidential and provided for the jury only!

• Finalists are ranked based on the evaluation of the jury (75 % weight) and the public (25 %)

Innopinion?

Peer-evaluation enables testing the ideas anonymously for basic market potential, novelty, scalability and much more.

The specialists may be used as 2nd tier of evaluation or as expert Jury to evaluate more complex aspects.

We’ve reconsidered how ideas should be validated for potential!Innopinion uses the means of controlled crowdsourcing and peer-evaluation to both collect ideas, evaluate their potential, as well as help develop them within the process!

SolutionInnopinion distributes the ideas for evaluation one person and one task at a time, controlling the process who gets to see what.

All ideas are guaranteed to get equal neutral evaluation from the public. The public is being rewarded for each task they do, in the means of gamification, with both virtual and real life rewards.

Participants are activated one task at a time, including tasks to invite more people to participate and promote the competition at social media.

Target: To raise awareness of elderly care and the Queen Silvia Nursing Award, to engage nursing students to innovate new elderly care services, and to promote the cause. Campaign period 3 months.

Target: 100 people to apply for the award in the form of innovating new care services, 100 ideas to be gathered and tested for potential.

Process: In the means of co-creation and peer-evaluation, Innopinion engaged the participants to innovating new services, helping test the potential of the given ideas, and engage the people to promote the cause across social media.

Results: over 140 people applied the award, over 330 ideas were gathered, participants performed over 3000 peer-evaluation tasks!
