In an effort to “Go Green” and save money, PennDOT has discontinued printing paper copies of several of its larger manuals. The manuals can all be found on PennDOT’s website www.PennDOT.gov under the “Forms and Publications” link on the top right. The department anticipates saving more than a half a million dollars annually by not printing and storing large quantities of these publications. In addition to the positive environmental impact of saving paper, the move to paperless publications will also enable PennDOT to direct more dollars to maintain roads, bridges and multimodal connections.
