About WEP
West Euston Partnership (WEP) is a charity and an alliance of community, private, statutory and voluntary organisations. WEP News
WEP Cloud Nine Festival
The festival was a great success. WEP’s annual festival that usually takes place outdoors on a weekend was held indoors at the Old Diorama Arts Centre on Thursday 19 September 2019. Over 100 people attended and the day was very busy.
Ruth Siddall, WEP Chair, gave a moving speech honouring the outstanding service and contribution Joynal Uddin, WEP trustee and former chair, made to the Camden community and WEP. Joynal who was unable to attend due to ill health was there in spirit.
The following is some of the feedback from those who attended: A fantastic event! Our mother had an excellent time from start to end. It was so good that she and her friend decided to stay till the end and did not go to another project. It was truly that good.

Thanks a million for such a good enjoyable fun day that brightened our mother’s wellbeing. One word…Brilliant! Well organised and balanced with numerous things to do... Already looking forward to next year.... …a joyful event to allow the unemployed to have a break from the depressing mindset of job application failure. I am glad I was there.
The programme for the day included Tai Chi ably led by Jude, wonderful music from Regents Park Singers and Khiyo Bengali Band, a superb solo performance from Emmanuelle, stylish haircuts from Hatice, artful face painting from Poppy and Perle, environmentally friendly vegan and
vegetarian food from Global Generation, free business advice from Lucan, drama therapy guidance techniques from Creative Awakenings, relaxing chair massages, arts and crafts courtesy of Lendlease, kitchen remedies advice from WEP Volunteer Bernadette, and information on WEP’s services.

Components: container for mixture, charcoal log, powder, tablets and capsules, water and flaxseed for poultice. Process: For poisoning – mix 1 – 2 large spoonful of charcoal powder with a small amount of water in a glass, top up with water and stir well. Drink the mixture and drink some water afterwards. For poultice – 1 part flaxseed and 3 parts charcoal with enough water to make a soft jelly, then using a paper towel place jelly on 1 side. Sandwich jelly with the other side to make your charcoal plaster and apply to affected area. This mixture can be made ahead of time and stored in a refrigerator for up to a month or in a freezer for much longer. A big thank you to all those who came to this year’s festival and made the day so special, including partner organisations, funders, WEP staff, volunteers, trustees, stallholders, the local community, Jacob and Old Diorama Arts Centre staff.
