Scan Range Features

about US

Common Features

• Supports 99 Tag holders• Up to 150m from Controller to Reader• Simple to configure using buttons on the controller• Support configuration lock using button pattern code• Support 125 kHz Passive Tags or Pin-code & 4 button RF Transmitter • Each Relay can be set to Toggled or Pulse mode• Hardware uses Impro’s proprietary S-bus protocol which comes standard with AES 128 bit encryption with key exchange

UniScan• Offers 1 door control through the single relay on the

Controller• Supports a single RF or Proximity reader• System is supplied as a kit with the UniScan Controller + the

selected reader

FlexiScan• Offers up to 4 door control using either the relays located on

the Controller or using remote relay units• Supports up to 8 RF and/or Proximity readers to control the 4

doors• The system is supplied as individual units

SKA

RF Receiver

Proximity Reader• Standard with support for 125kHz EM4100 tags and PIN codes• Uses S-Bus protocol allowing installation up to 150m from the controller• Bi-coloured LED for access allowed/denied indication• The unit is addressable using on-board DIP switch• Rated at IP54 for outdoor applications

RF Receiver• 433MHz Receiver for use with the Impro 4 button RF tag• Uses S-Bus protocol allowing installation up to 150m from the controller• Standard with Impro’s Dynamic Code Transmission (DCT) technology • The unit is addressable using on-board DIP switch• The PCB is conformally coated for outdoor applications• The PCB has on-board signal strength indicators for infield range testing

Scan Range Remote Relay Overview

Remote Relay

Remote Relay• Standard with 1 x 10amp Relay and 1 x RTE input• Uses S-Bus protocol allowing installation up to 150m from the controller• Requires a 2 wire comms bus and operates at 12VDC• Is compatible with both the UniScan and FlexiScan Controllers • The unit is addressable using on-board DIP switch• The PCB is conformally coated for outdoor applications

FlexiScan Controller

FlexiScan Architecture• The FlexiScan Controller supports a maximum of 8

readers and 4 Remote Relay units for controlling up to 4 doors

• The FlexiScan Controller can support both RF and Proximity readers on the same system

• The addressing on the hardware allows readers to be linked to relays on the Controller and Remote Relays.• Readers set to address 1 will drive relay 1 on the

Controller and the relay on the Remote Relay set to 1

Scan Range – System Configuration

System Configuration• The system is completely configured on the Controller. No need for a PC

or software• There are 4 configuration buttons, 2 for location selection and an “Add”

and “Delete” button.• The system allows the simple addition of a Proximity tag, PIN code or RF

tag into the system using these four buttons.• There are 99 tag holder positions that can be configured per Controller.

• Any of the supported tags can be added or deleted for each location

• When the 4 button RF transmitter is used each button can be added or deleted per location and each button drives a relay. Button 1 drives relay 1, button 2 drives relay 2, etc.

• Relays can be set to toggled or pulsed mode• All tags added get 24/7 all access rights for easy of use
